There is so much history to learn about Prince George buildings. Our streets are filled with stories of new beginnings and past lives. One of these buildings is located at 1375 2nd Avenue. Currently the home of The Celt Family Restaurant, this beauty of a brick building is full of stories. What used to be an old horse stable, then bakery and now a restaurant, has so many memories hidden in the walls.

The Celt opened its large new doors in April of 2017. The Celt, also meaning the "Warrior" is a family friendly atmosphere where every one is welcome.

Enjoy a new menu with tasty new flavors, paired with some of the best beer available. Indulge in 2 for 1 appies with a friend after 8pm. Get the coworkers together for a lunchtime burger or bring in the parents for a tasty steak dinner. Whatever you order you know you are in the company of friends. The staff are friendly and do a great job. There is a definite presence of respect among the managers and staff and anyone can see that The Celt is a fun place to work. The owners and managers are passionate about the restaurant as well as their staff and customers.

One of the best parts of the restaurant is the free birthday meal! Bring in a friend for your birthday lunch or supper and the birthday person receives a free meal! Also a part of the proceeds from each birthday meal given away is donated by the restaurant to local charities in town.

October is featuring a new beer on tap! Get the friends together and try the new Hop House 13 lager. Using only the best Irish grown barley this beer is sure to please.
