The heart of the Hart. That is how many people have described local store Bellissima. It's a true community meeting place. A place that not only provides quality and unique products but also where the staff will lend and ear and a hug to their customers. The store began as a story about family. A vision of friendship and a cute country store grew into ideas and then reality. When you enter the shop you immediately feel comfortable and relaxed. Take your time to look around at everything Bellissima has to offer. There is no hurry. You will not be bombarded with sales associates trying to make a commission or rush you out of the store. The small team of staff is ready to help where needed whether with finding the perfect git idea or sharing a laugh. If the staff and the comfortable atmosphere of the store doesn't draw you in then the store greeter most certainly will. Penny is an important part of the team at Bellissima. She is ready to greet you at the door, watch you browse through the products, and she provides a feeling of calm in the store. Oh, did I mention Penny is a dog?

So what type of products does the boutique offer? Bellissima offers everything from country decor, shabby chic, jewelry, house decor, furniture, memorial lanterns, soap products, garden features, nursery and wedding items, clothing items and so much more. You will also find items from many local artisans in the store such as sock monkeys, fairy doors, and handmade greeting cards. Concerned about environmentally friendly products? All of the soaps and paints in the shop are petroleum free. Up-cycling is important to the store and many of their pieces are recycled and re finished items. All of the gems that you find are also sold at a reasonable and affordable price point as they want to provide their customers with affordable but quality gifts.

If you are feeling creative, get a group of friends together and check out some of the many classes they offer. Bellissima offers 6-8 classes a moth including sign making, and lanterns from beginner to advanced experienced.

I had the opportunity to chat with owner Lisa and Jacquie at the shop and they were a great example of staff who care about their employees and customers. Lovely ladies with amazing hearts that you can see come through in their conversations and through their store. The heart of the Hart is a very accurate description.
